Actually, they're only victims of those who are hungry of power, who wanted to control everything for their own satisfaction. Even the King is nothing for these people for he is just like tool... a material in which after they used him they will only throw him away.

Sulfured Ducks

Lady Han and Lady Seo (Jang Geum) are now facing troubles caused by the Sulfured ducks.

Of course the Palaces' doctors know that the ducks have the ability to abolish poisons from the foods they ate. In other words, even the ducks did eat sulfurs, but still their meat are safe to be eaten by people.

But then, the Doctors who attended the health of the King are tensed if their mistakes in diagnosing the King's illness will be revealed for it will brought them to prison or to death. And pushing Lady Han and Lady Seo (Jang Geum) into this scam will be safer for the Doctors.

I don't know if the Palace Captain could save them from this trouble. I just wish he can... But we will know this tonight. Let's watch the result on the Captains eagerness to save the two precious ladies of the Palaces' Kitchens.

The Search Is Over

Jang Geum's search for her mother's best friend is now over. She now know that Lady Han is the one she was searching for ever since.

It's a tearful scene between Lady Seo (Jang Geum) and Lady Han. Reminiscing those important memories of their lives that they both shared to each other. The child that saved Lady Han from those wicked people, the knife, the cherry fruits and everything.

Now, they are both thankful to Myung Ngye Park who is the mother of Jang Geum and the best friend of Lady Han for all the things that happen between them. Lady Han believed that it was her best friend who brought Jang Geum beside her to help her on her struggle.

It's Lady Han Again

This time, it's the contest between the two servants, Lady Han and Lady Choi. Lady Han faced Lady Choi without the assistance of Jang Geum and the Jurors are the servants in the kitchen themselves.

As we all know, almost all the servants voted the rice prepared by Lady Choi for its taste but then the Impressed and the Queen are surprised on the result of votation. Lady Han won the contest.

Taiwan and China are in rare agreement in a backlash against the Korean Wave that has seen their television channels swamped with Korean soap operas. Hong Kong’s Wenweipo on Wednesday reported signs that Taiwan is following mainland China’s lead in a drive to limit airtime for Korean drama.

The daily quoted Taipei’s Government Information Office Chief Pasuya Yao as telling the island’s parliament Tuesday that the GIO was assessing a proposal to ban or limit foreign TV drama in the prime time slot from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Wrong Prediction

Home - About Me

My prediction on my post, "The Winner" on who will be choosen as the Head Servant on the Kitchens, seems go against the true result of the contest. I didn't expect that the queen would consider the fact that the good Head Servant is also a Good Teacher. And that what everybody had witnessed.

It was proven many times how good is Lady Han as teacher. To mention the few of them, first was training Jang Geum a different but excellent way as Kitchen Servant; Second was when she brought Jang Geum into the Temple to take care of the old caregiver of the Prince; and by teaching her the right way of thinking and the right way of serving the King based on the principle that Madam Jung (the retirable Head Kitchen Servant) believed.

Tonight we'll continue to follow the exciting event in the Palaces' Kitchens.

People here in our apartment screamed when Jang Geum won the contest.

To let you know, what Jang Geum said to the King about the food and her mother touches not only the heart of the King and the Palace Captain but also the heart of everyone who watched the show. Everybody feel the tears on their eyes while listening to what Jang Geum had said.

The King recognized the love of her mother to her. Everybody witnessed and knew about that too, especially those who watch the Jewel in the Palace since the start of the show.

Lee, the star of "Dae Jang-geum", who was voted Woman of the Year in a 2005 Hong Kong poll, joined fellow Korean stars Lee Byung-heon and Ahn Seong-gi in petitioning the Hong Kong government.

"We sincerely ask the Hong Kong authorities and police to take into consideration their (the protesters') lives that are at the brink of survival and their suffering in Hong Kong, and that you allow them to return to Korea and their families as soon as possible," the petition said.

My sister asked me whether who will win the contest between Lady Han and Lady Choi.

If the judgment will be based on my own standard, it is already obvious that Lady Seo (Jang Geum) will win the contest, but Lady Choi will win the office of the head servant in the Palaces' Kitchens.

The foods prepared by Jang Geum are more delicious and good for the King's health than those prepared by Lady Choi, but then Jang Geum is just a helper or assistant of Lady Han.
