Lee of Jang Geum Joins Stars in Hongkong

Lee, the star of "Dae Jang-geum", who was voted Woman of the Year in a 2005 Hong Kong poll, joined fellow Korean stars Lee Byung-heon and Ahn Seong-gi in petitioning the Hong Kong government.

"We sincerely ask the Hong Kong authorities and police to take into consideration their (the protesters') lives that are at the brink of survival and their suffering in Hong Kong, and that you allow them to return to Korea and their families as soon as possible," the petition said.
