The Choi family successfully sent away Madam Jung from the Palace kitchen. Even the Ladies Han and Seo (Jang Geum) were sent to serve the Kingdom’s visitor, the messenger from China, a responsibility which is usually given to the unrecognized Kitchen’s servants.

But this time, serving the messenger is not that easy for Lady Han and Lady Seo (Jang Geum) who stand firm with their principles as the kitchen’s servants. They prepared food which is good for the health of the messenger that sent Lady Han to prison.
