Sending Jang Geum to the temple of Budhism is not a waste at all. Through her experience with Madam Ju, the caregiver of the Prince, she learn something which is related to her mistake in the first part of the contest.

Although Jang Geum possessed a wonderful ability, but it doesn't mean that she can do everything without giving her heart to the job or work she is doing.

Because of this, Jang Geum is now thankful to Madam Han for what she did to her.
