Lady Han explained again to Jang Geum why she has to be chosen to be a partner on the contest against Lady Choi. It is not because Jang Geum is like a child of Lady Han but because, Jang Geum has the characteristics of a good cook. Although Jang Geum is still suffering from an illness but Lady Han believes that Jang Geum is still capable of preparing food even without tasting it, because Jang Geum has the ability to mixed food's ingredients even on her head alone and can predict the result of it.

To prove that Lady Han is right, she told Jang Geum to prepare food by giving her the main ingredient alone. And as what Lady Han has expected, Jang Geum successfully prepared a unique food.
