the ladies in the picture is Jang Geum herself and lady Han... I saw this scene. This was when Jang Geum's one of 3 wishes was granted by the king. Jag Geum wanted to be the head of the kitchen for a while because it was her mother's wish to see her become the head of the kitchen someday (as written on the letter her mother made before her death). Her mother wanted Jang Geum to write their story on the sacred book of that would be handed from one generations to another. So, when Jang Geum was staying outside smiling, she saw a speck of light and it was lady Han approaching her and congratulating her for becoming the head of the kitchen and for doing it for her and her mom. Such a beautiful scene!!! :) I so love "Jewel in the Palace." hehehehe
